Around the house...

You voted... and the room you want to see next is the kitchen!

Let me start off by telling you that we live in a 100 year old farmhouse in the country. My husband actually grew up in this house. We have lived here for four years and moved in with the intentions on updating everything! The first room we started on was the kitchen. Sadly , 4 years
later and the room is still not done. : (

What we have done is put all new drywall up (used to be horsehair plaster), new floors, I sanded and stained the countertops, I sanded, painted, and distressed the cabinets, some new wallpaper, new appliances, new sink with fixtures and new lighting.

There are still lots of little details to take care of.
